FOREING DIRECT INVESTMENTS – GENERATOR OF RUINEDMACEDONIAN ECONOMY: 339.727.22(497.7)“1998/2006”

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The increasing number of socio-economical developments, which have resulted in inappropriate economical politics around the globe, contributed to the inevriable situation of the Macedonian economy. Part of the economical developments which have the highest impact to the dall of the Macedonian economy, are happening in the health, energy and military-defense sectors. The high degree of corruption metastasizes in almost all segments of social living, the absence of the ruling of law in the country,  additionally stimulates the  evidential economical regression of the state. The living standards have taken a serious hit from the fall of the industrial production; the negative incline of the GDP; recession; enormous rise in prices; inflationary movements which have entered a phase of stagnation rise in unemployment as well as the sensitive fall of the national currency’s value.

 All of the above, has resulted in an enormous number of Macedonian citizen that are looking for better future in foreing countries. The eminent experts are proposing a way out of the collapse of the Macedonian economy, they suggest that Macedonia should instantly restart all state processes, especially the foreing direct investments, which are a fundamental element on which we can base off the future economic prosperity.
